Please welcome Sarah Vale to Facilities Management.  Sarah grew up in a small northern Indiana town but comes to us from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Sarah has only been here for two weeks. She has been an accountant for most of her career, working at a mortgage company and most recently for Steamboat Springs City government.  Sarah enjoys hiking, camping, running, and most importantly, U of U football. She became a fan when her boyfriend attended the U. GO UTES! Sarah enjoys the outdoors and staying in shape. In fact, she has already taken advantage of the spinning classes offered by HPER. 

Sarah is getting ready to move for the second time in her short stint here in Utah to make more room for her family. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys baking, reading, and shopping.

Please take time to swing by Sarah’s cubicle to introduce yourself and welcome her to our team. She is located next to Heather Henderson.

Welcome to Facility Operations

The Key Shop is pleased to announce that Russell Johnson is our new key clerk.  Russell has 10 years or experience with an office atmosphere.

Please welcome him as he becomes part of Facility Operations.

New Hire

 Facility Operations is pleased to announce that Angie Meeks will be joining our team as the new Administrative Assistant.  Angie brings with her many years of administrative support experience.  She has a bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Utah.  Angie comes to us from Construction Project Delivery and has been a part of Facilities for 8 years. 

We are very pleased to welcome Angie to Facility Operations.  She will be joining us officially on January 28, 2013.

New Dispatcher

Bob Stilson is pleased to announce that Deanne Flandro has accepted the position of dispatcher in Work Planning.  Deanne brings with her many skills and has past experience which will help in her new position.  Please give her your support and stop by the Dispatch office to welcome her to Facility Operations.

Welcome to Facility Operations

Bob Stilson is pleased to announce that Alan Burdick has accepted the position of Construction Manager for the Work Planning group.  Alan has many years of hands on construction experience as well as managing ground up commercial projects.  Alan is excited to be here and will be a great resource and asset to our department.  Please welcome Alan and give him your support as he becomes part of Facility Operations. 

Dale Hoskins would like to welcome Brett Nuccitelli to the Metal Shop.  He is our new Sheet Metal Worker and we are happy to have him join us.

Budget & Programs welcomes Tamara Sindelman the new Office Assistant.  She will be supporting Landscape Maintenance and Transportation.  She is brand new to Utah after having grown up in the northwest (Oregon and Washington) where she worked in health sciences at the University of Washington.  Most recently, she was a high school English teacher and is planning to return to school (hopefully at the U) so she can eventtually teach at the college level.  So far, she loves the mountains and blue sky but misses the ocean.

Landscape Maintenance would like to welcome Christy Cruz, she is a Landscape Gardener.
