Even though it is only the middle of October, Plant Operations is kicking off our annual holiday service project. We always enjoy making quilts with Plant Operations' staff, and this year the quilts we create will be a little bigger because we have taken on an additional University Hospital area that desperately needs donated quilts. We will be creating adult quilts for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, whose patients also need comfort as they are receiving their transplants.
We will again be donating toys, books, movies, and games to the Pediatric Dialysis Unit. Thanks to everyone who manage to contribute to these projects every year, no matter what your situation is. We recognize the generosity of Plant Operations' staff and know that we can count on you each year to participate somehow. Donation bins and jars will be delivered to the shops this week; we hope to start purchasing the quilting materials as soon as possible. Let's have another great service project and thanks to you all!
